I bought this because they had it on clearance with free shipping. What else can I say, it's Lake City brass green tip ammo. It works as it should. Never had a bad primer. It's good ammo for practice and such.

I finally got the chance to cycle a couple mags loaded with the Winchester 556 M855 green tips. I put a couple mags filled with other manufacturers through my M4 AR15 before shooting the green tips so I would have something to compare them to. They are designed to penetrate and they did not disappoint. My targets were metal barrel lids mounted onto 1” sheetrock slabs, these had no issue ripping clean through my targets!

I'm an average consumer of ammunition, and cannot provide an expert review on the quality, or reliability. What I can say with confidence is that to this point they have performed as needed. I have not experienced any issues with stoppages, failures consistent with undergassing, or misfires. As for the casing and projectile, I have yet to find a single round with a dent or scaring that would cause me concern.The rounds are what you would expect from target practice ammunition.
