Pistol brass is arguably the most important single component of a reloading casing. This small but significant component makes up the casing of a loaded round and is necessary for reloading. However, most people don’t think beyond the casing of a loaded round and consider loading the casing of a loaded round. Whereas this is the case for a reloading casing, a prime casing is what brings a casing to a cartridge’s terminal performance. For this reason Sig Sauer produces both primed and unprimed brass. But both are extremely important for reloaders to consider when deciding what brass to use for reloading. Reed Lillard –
I have used Sig Sauer brass for reloading and find it as good as any out there and here at Optics a better price! The Tipton swabs are my everyday cleaning item for pistols and hold up very well. I wish that they were a bit more consistent in size because I generally go up a size for the final pass through the barrel,

I always measure and weigh my brass before loading. The 50 purchased varied no more than 0.002” in length and 2 grains in weight! Very consistent!
