The Nosler Varmageddon program was developed in response to the increasing demands of shooters who were demanding more consistent and accurate ammunition. They wanted something that was precise, and offered a slightly heavier bullet that would stay on target longer as opposed to the lighter .22-250 that is just too light to be effective against varmints. They found that offering a heavier bullet and settling for a lower one resulted in higher wind drift and trajectories also offered higher weight retention and generally higher velocities. They also wanted to ensure that the overall weight and settling velocity stayed relatively constant, provided the overall charge weight stayed consistent. Unfortunately, the majority of small varmints are fairly easy to take down as demonstrated in the video above. However, our new .22-250 offering would likely do more damage as the 55 grain load… probably because of the larger amount of energy imparted to the projectile from the .22-250 than the .22-250 alone. Still, any varmint would suffer the consequences of such indifferent ammunition. Great factory ammo for varmints. Wonderful accuracy. I was looking for some heavier loads for a 1/9 twist but these things stabilize great. Just wish bullets were easier to find in 22-250. Can’t wait for nosler to be done with this ammo shortage!

I looked everywhere for this particular ammunition and had no luck. I came across OpticsPlanet.com and they had exactly what I was looking for. Great ammunition at a reasonable price! I thought I would fire off a few rounds to check the grouping and all were within an inch at 1oo yards. This is exactly what I need for those pesky coyotes. Hope you continue to stock this hard to find ammunition.

Went from american eagle 50 gr to nosler 55gr. These bullets are deadly on any medium and small game. Very accurate out of my 22-250. Will but more when needed. Cant beat the price at optics planet and the service.

Shot 2 totes so far with them. They never spun just instantly stiff. Also my bergara likes them the most out of several factory loads. Wish they loaded something heavier than 55 gr with the bergara 1-9 twist I need some more weight but still got just over a group grouping with these while others were closer to 2 inches. Not great grouping by any means but enough to kill Yotes till I find heavier loads to try
