Evolving out of the Sporting Handgun line of match-grade bullets, the ASP bullet line was designed to create a versatile handgun bullet that can be used for a variety of applications. By adding deep skives to the nose and mouth of the copper jacket, Nosler has enhanced the expansion characteristics of the ASP bullet without sacrificing the accuracy and reliable feeding that the Sporting Handgun line has been known for. The skives in the jacket mouth create precise reliefs in the jacket which allow for rapid, consistent, reliable expansion. This reliable expansion assures energy transfer and stopping power while limiting the likelihood of over-penetration. Equally at home on duty or in a defensive role, Law Enforcement professionals and civilians alike can rest assured that the ASP bullet will perform when needed. Nosler is always a great round whether you buy FMJ or JHP I’ve never had any issues with any of their rounds in any caliber firearms that I own! I’ve tried a bunch of different 10 mm rounds and this is by far in the top echelon of handgun ammo I just wish that I didn’t have to always wait for sale to get it in a little bit of a better price but hey you get what you pay a lot of the time in life am I right?! Optics planet always ship super fast and the packaging is always very well protected and I love this product!

Nosler is some of the best high quality absolute workhorse ammo. It’s never let me down in any situation and with optics planets’ prices I’ve bought hundreds of rounds of all calibers of Nosler ammo! Never ever have had a single misfire, fail to extract or fail to fire etc! No issues! Highly recommend to all.

I buy a ton of Nosler ammo and for great reason- this stuff goes bang all the time every time at the range or hunting, which I sure use it for both! Excellent defensive round for 10mm either way you cut it it’ll never let you down. It’s not let me down once. I’ve never had a misfire in any of my guns. I recommend to all!

This ammo is pretty typical with respect to its power level. A 180g bullet traveling at 1,150fps is considered rather low-powered with respect to 10mm. Back when the cartridge was first released in the early 1980's the FBI had considerably more powerful ammo, which was on par with .357 ammo. But that stronger ammo has a lot more recoil. This 180g bullet should be traveling 100fps faster, but it's still fine.Anyways, the ammo fed & shot well. So it's recommended!

I bought 2 boxes of 10mm jacketed hollow points to do a comparison. The two brands were this one and Sig Sauer elite V-crown. Not only did the sig have higher velocity and better expansion. None of the sig rounds were damaged out of the box. However the Nosler missed that 10% of my box had rounds where the case was peeled back presumably by the bullet when seated then the pealed case was still crimped and shipped to the consumer.I would not buy this ammo unless you can visually inspect the ammo.
