This 6.5mm variant is quite a new development, created in 2007 by a cooperation between Hornady and Creedmoor Sports and was designed as a long range target shooting cartridge. The 6.5mm bullet has long been known to be an excellent long range bullet, as the projectiles have good sectional densities and ballistic coefficients and the 6,5 Creedmoor has become very popular for long range hunting. The case is on the shorter side so it can be chambered in a short action rifle. Norma has always been well known for having high quality ammo and these rounds are no exception. Accuracy is good and the ammo is consistent and high quality. Definitely have been using this as my primary hunting round for a couple years now.

Found 6.5 in stock at a fair price. Appreciate optics planet. Good solid ammo at a fair price. Good accuracy and reliable brand. Shoots well out of my rifle. Getting info ready for season and wanted to be comfortable with drop in ammo. Very usable

Works very well in my 110 savage. Shoots repeatable groups. Barrel shows minimum fouling. All in all can't wait for deer season to start. Think this ammo should work well on Texas whitetail and mule deer.
Buck –
After testing all the over priced ammo with the sturdy boxes and polished appearance this stuff grouped better than any. Excellent quality and better performance than all the Hornady stuff

I purchased these elsewhere at the time. I used these on a nice 8pt buck at around 220yds and he went maybe 15yds and dropped. I’m no expert marksman but easily shoot moa from a CVA Cascade and Mauser M18 at 100yds with these. They seem extremely consistent and are the only round I’ve found that both rifles shot extremely well. Are they a long range target round? No but I’d be comfortable shooting an Indiana whitetail out to 300yds which is what they’re designed for.

After two mistakes (from other companies) Optics Planet sent me the correct rounds. I'll be buying from them from here on out. Timely delivery, too!blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah…
