Lee Short Charging Die is for use with the Lee Auto-Disk Pro Auto-Disk and Auto-Drum Powder Measure. ? Works with cases .860 to 1.760 inches long and bullet diameter .223 and larger due to powder bridging. Works the same as the pistol powder through expanding die except it doesn’t expand the case mouth. Rifle case expansion is done in the sizing die. Not a whole lot to say about this. works as expected. I added to my 4 turret press for high volume rifle cartridges. Fills that empty 4th hole in the turret die holder and helps by automating the powder drop. Just like the 4 die pistol sets (which come with this type of die). if you are looking to automate a rifle cartridge on a 4 die turret press this will do the trick.

No complaints about a simple part.. case activated riser fits properly and works as it should.However the new case activated powder measure is junk. Returned both for a refund.I ended up buying the Hornady. Great reviews and reputation.The Lee Turret Press is a Winner.. I like it.
