Good product but I feel the flex tube should be longer.I also had to drill another hole in the side of the bin because the flex tube was running uphill before it could start down hill into the feeder die.Feed good now although I had to Modify and stretch to make it function

Purchased to reload 223. Also for the fact it places the bullet, seats and crimps it in one station. Needs taller mount is using an elevated press. Also Mount could be a bit more sturdy for my taste. Would purchase again.

First, I just got this and have only ran 100 or so through it. So keep that in mind. Also the rifle bullet feeders are different from the pistol Hornady bullet feeder units. First impression exceeds expectations.I've been wanting a bullet feeder (beside GSI -can't afford) that I do not loose a station just to feed the bullet. This unit solves that, feed & seat and if want crimp all with a single die. -Hornady web site under product details for some strange reason does not mention this. (the box does! poor marketing there!)The bullet feed and seat so far is flawless with 55 fmjbt 223 bullets. No extra case mouth flair needed. Die is very clever, seems built to last. Everything feeds in line from top with very few moving parts.I'm using this on a Dillon 650, so you do have to adjust for different press heights, the adjustment feature on my unit could not adjust high enough for the 650.You will need to add to base, or brackets.Fairly easy to set up, hardest is getting the bullet collator set. I'm not convinced wont sometimes feed bullets upside down occasionally. Like I said only 100 so far and they were all correctly positioned.Would have given 5 stars except collator has no lid, so sometimes spits some bullets on floor. (Ace 1 1/2 gallon pail lid) fits right on top to solve -so cheap fix. It does have a on off master switch and the feed assembly has a reed switch which shuts off feed automatically. Second the bullet top travel feed tube in my opinion is too short. This is likely a 650 press issue. Easy fixed at ace for $3.00. Third in my opinion the rotator is a bit fast, but they might have a reason for this. I did not find it too noisy, but a slower speed would reduce the number or bullets cascading inside hopper. One really important unexpected benefit (at least to me) I bought this to increase speed. but now not having to focus on bullet placement to case mouth by hand, you eyes can stay watching the press. Extra safety never hurts!
