I dropped an axis buck with this ammunition last fall. It was a very clean kill at 70 yards. The trajectory was flat, the deer dropped in its tracks, and there was little damage to the meat. The small exit wound made it possible to send a very beautiful hide off to be tanned. After more than 30 years of hunting with other brands, this is now my ammunition of choice for my pre-'64 Winchester 94 .30-30.

I shot this ammo in my 30-30 and my 308 MX with leverevolution 160 grain. Both rifles inaccurate. 30-30 was worse. I have cheap scopes on both, but my 30-30 used to be sighted in accurate using regular 150 grain Federal ammo. Killed many deer with that rifle until I changed scope mounts with same scope just lower to barrel with Burris zee rings. Could the harmonics changed after this or is hornaday Leverevolution ammo not friendly with older 30-30 Marlin 336’s? Getting better quality optics for both and raising 30-30 from low rings to medium and see what happens.
