Hornady FTX bullets provide an all around excellent ammunition. For anyone who would like to take their hunting to another level, Hornady FTX bullets will help you to get there. Provides accurate repeatability, while still giving the penatration and bullet expansion that provides a quick take down of the game of your choice. I have tried several different types of ballistic tip bullets. Hornady FTX is by far the best for the desired 30-30 caliber.

Great product, fine company. I have done my own reloading for many years now and can truthfully say these bullets are the very best performing of any, especially for the Winchester 30-30 lever guns with the tubular magazine. You can’t go wrong with this quality product!

This is the bullet that you need if you're looking to reach out with your old 30-30 to those deer that you thought were just to far for the round nose to reach. On target at 200yds. without a problem.

A buddy was having a very hard time even finding .308 marlin express loaded ammo. I loaded 3 10 load batches using varying grain loads and the Hornady 160 gr FTX projectiles. In the end after firing all 3 sample shots through the Chrono and at a 100 yd target at the same time, he chose batch #3 which were slightly faster FPS loads than the factory store bought loads he was worried about replacing due to availability. After all the testing and data recorded he found that our slightly faster rounds were grouping tighter than he had ever shot before. In closing he begged me to load 500 rounds so he would never have to worry about running low on these rounds again due to availability. I agreed to load after he purchases the components.
