The geometry of these rounds leads to sticking on the way into the chamber. A good polish helps but Berettas in general already have a low incline feed system and feed EVERYTHING else without fault. As a self defense cartridge that is unacceptable. I am not the only person who has had this problem. I have heard other anecdotes.
