The Bullet feed die is intended to be used with the Hornady LNL Progressive press but can be used with any press with standard 7/8" thread. This particular die is for 38 cal. bullets with .357 dia. It worked great. It may be of some interest to those reading this, the new Bullet Feed tubes that Hornady introduced early this year for the 9mm bullets can be used in this die for 38's. These dies like all dies should be disassembled and cleaned to remove any surface coating so the internal parts operated smoothly. These dies now come with a PTX expanding die to be used in the Hornady Powder Measure on the LNL press. Follow the directions in the LNL Progressive Press to set up.

I have bought this bullet feeder die because I saw it working in my friend's LNL only with a thin wall plastic tube from pet store (aquarium parts). And it is working perfectly with my plated and jacket bullets!

The Hornady bullet feeder works in conjunction with their bullet feed system. There are several different bullet feeders for different caliber bullets. Bullet feeders are used on the lock and load press to drop the bullet into the case just prior to setting bullet height. This unit is pretty straight forward to set up and is a quality item I expect it to last the lifetime of the press.

The feeder is a must for quick loading. Once set up was completed, which took about 5 test loads, it has worked very well ! Help speed up reloading by 50%. Along with case feeder and bullet feeder, 1000 rounds is nothing.

I am using this on a lee auto breech lock pro. Works great. I purchased the feed tubes for ease of use, but the die can also be used to feed one bullet at a time if that is what you choose. Setup was fairly simple and straight forward, plenty of videos on Youtube to help you if needed. I have used it with two different jacketed bullets and have not had any feeding problems. I would recommend this die.

The Bullet Feeder Die is meant to be used with the automatic bullet feeder, now Hornady has tubes witch are less expensive. This Die will speed up the reloading loading process, Get one for every caliber that you load, worth the investment. Please note they are not meant to work with cast bullets, work very well with copper plated or jacketed, highly recommend.
