I zeroed my smooth bore simi auto shotgun with a less powerful slug and they were ok and the recoil was not bad but then i thought i would try a few of these not expecting a difference. But these are obviously more powerful and produced a 2" group at 70 yards using a 3-9 variable scope. The shotgun/rifle has only a 16" barrel but it should be fine out to 150 yards with this ammo. It appears very flat shooting. I am anxious to try the 3" version.The increase in recoil was significant but the deer won't care.
