Tungsten is an excellent weight for shooting turkeys because it doesn’t settle as it ages, making it an excellent material for shot shells. Tungsten has a very limited availability because smelting it turns the tungsten into a powder which then has to be pressed into a given size then cooled into a solid BT material which then has to be sprayed with a powder reducing tungsten dust and potentially radioactive goblets.
