Federal started roll crimping them. In the process they never cut down the original length of their hulls so after roll crimping they are 3 3/4” long or longer. They are so long that the only way I can use them is loading and unloading them singly. I also noticed the roll crimps were pushed down with so much force they bulged out to larger than SAMI outside diameter specs. I called federal and they said they were already aware of the longer than max Sami length and max outer diameter circumference from the crimping. They also told me they were not planning on changing the design. I started reloading and Roll crimping my own after that. When I need a factory turkey load Winchester is my go to ammo in 10 gauge.

Have used this in my 12 gauge so I should expect the same results in my 10.
