Eley Club shot below 1/2 moa in my CZ 457 Varmint. Accuracy improved after reducing the headspace by 0.004 inch. Eley manufactures their 22lr with the thinnest rim thickness allowed by the European CPI standard, thus it performs best with in firearms with a tight headspace and best in firearms with a headspace tighter than SAMII specifications. Eley Target performed equally well but has greater lot to lot velocity variation. Personally the extra 2 to 3 cents per found additional cost is worth it to me to avoid having to make trajectory adjustments every time I change lots. This is the only ammo shot in my rifle the past 6,500 rounds but I've got 1,500 rounds of Eley Target as a backup in case I run out of Club.Note, lots of CZ457 shooters find SK or Lapua to work better in their firearms. I had feeding and ejection issues with both of those brands and neither shot better than CCI standard velocity in my 457. Lapua and SK use the thickest rims allowed by CPI, thus it's unlikely the same rifle will shoot Eley and SK/Lapua equally well. The Caveat being a rifle with the headspace set at exactly the midpoint of the CIP allowable headspace.

. . . this ammo is dirty AF!! After firing less than a full 25 round mag through my 10/22, I could taste and smell the powder residue all over me. Also, the powder burns with a smell somewhere between rotten eggs, and a week old dirty diaper!! It would've also been nice to know that "round nose" meant lead round-nose, and not copper jacketed; but I guess that's a gig on me for optimistically assuming they would be copper jacketed. And finally, I'm not entirely certain if it was the ammo's fault, or my mags, but it seemed like 1/5 rounds failed to feed from the mag properly. I ended up switching to another brand of ammo, and while it has feed issues as well, it was maybe one per mag; versus one every 5 or 6 rounds. On the plus side, my buddy's single action revolver loved 'em; he was getting pretty decent accuracy with them too.

Shoots great from my savage mkii and my Ruger 10/22.

Frankly, I cannot reliably rate this ammo due to the fact Optics Planet did a sad job of packaging the ammo. When received the cardboard box was soaking wet and the plastic wrap water protection was completely torn up subjecting the ammo to water contamination and heavy buffeting from the loose packaging. I have no confidence in the buffeted ammo. It is performing mediocrely in my competitions. Optics Planet made no attempt to correct this sad circumstance. Buy your ammo elsewhere.

I have tested this ammo and to date it is the most accurate ammo in my CZ457 It is well within my needs for the kind of competition i do. I shoot steel plates 1 inch diameter at 80 yards
