I ordered 12 gauge shells but the shell boxes say 28g, the individual shell cases say 28g but the brass end says 12 gauge. I reached out to Optics Planet and they said they would get back to me but they didn't. I reached out to BioAmmo who replied saying, the 28g means grams for the shot load. Which is redundant given the shell also said 1oz. Given the confusing labeling I think buyers should be aware of this.
