Berger 22 Cal. Bullets are Long Range Hybrid Target Rifle Bullets for serious shooters looking for consistency with the least possible variation. Berger has developed them using new proprietary manufacturing processes and patented technologies. These Berger 85 Hybrid bullets are actually 85.5 grain, another testament that even the most minuscule details haven’t been overlooked in their development. These Berger Long-Range Hybrid bullets have a hybrid ogive, which means the secant and tangent have been blended for a unique nose. The ballistic coefficient (BC) is increased with decreased variability thanks to Meplat Reduction Technology (MRT). The consistent core eliminates any need to sort by weight. And the J4 Target Jacket, one of the top bullet jackets, wraps up the package to get your tack-driver precision rifle running at peak performance. Specifications for Berger Target .22 Caliber 85.5 grain Rifle Bullets, Long Range Hybrid: Manufacturer: Berger Gun Type: Rifle Bullet Type: Boat Tail Hollow Point (BTHP) Bullet Weight: 85.5 grain Caliber: .22 Caliber Diameter: 0.224 mm G1 Ballistic Coefficient: 0.524 G7 Ballistic Coefficient: 0.268 Sectional Density: 0.243 Jacket Material: J4 Target Jacket Country of Origin: USA Fabric/Material: Copper Features of Berger Target .22 Caliber 85.5 grain Rifle Bullets, Long Range Hybrid: Hybrid Ogives blend the best aspects of tangent and secant nose shapes into one ogive. Near the bearing surface, the shape starts off as a tangent, which makes it easy to tune, then transitions to a secant ogive, which results in a flatter trajectory and less wind drift. MRT Patented Meplat Reduction Technology (MRT) increases Ballistics Coefficient (BC) while decreasing BC variability. This means less vertical dispersion, less wind drift, and the highest hit percentage on target. Consistent Core: Exacting core manufacturing process is one of the reasons when you buy a box of Berger, you don’t have to worry about sorting by weight. This gives you more reliable drop, consistent BC, and better accuracy. J4 Target Jacket: J4 Precision Bullet Jackets are the #1 choice of custom bullet manufacturers. They are the most consistent and concentric copper jackets in the world holding an unprecedented +/- .0003 inch tolerance. The most precise jacket produces a Berger bullet with the least amount of dispersion at all ranges. Package Contents: Berger Target .22 Caliber 85.5 grain Rifle Bullets, Long Range Hybrid

Berger fills the niche area where you need a bullet that's consistent and predictable while not breaking the bank. Sure sometime they are twice as expensive as ELD's, however I can weigh sort an entire box of Berger's and often all of them all within a grain of each other. The diameter tolerances and base to ogive measurements on loaded rounds are outstanding. Sometime I have a barrel that doesn't shoot them well but I can rest assured it's not the bullets fault, I'm really digging the new hybrid targets as the seem to be much more jump tolerant. Honestly it's hard to go wrong with these, shoot well in my AR10 and will be buying more.

I built a nice 6.5cm AR is 2019 with a Dracos barrel in 2019. I havent shot it much as i wanted to work up a load when I finally got into reloading. So far i have gotten great results and have had a couple nodes that yields around. 75 moa. The barrel isnt fully broke in and i expect to tune my load and maybe get down to .5 moa but thats hard in a gas gun.

Berger makes very accurate bullets and are used by most competition shooters! My real review is for Optics Planet and why I give them >5 stars for fast processing of my order and double kudos for how they package up and ship your order with care. This is opposed to the company whose name starts with "M" and ends in USA that will put your most sensitive reloading equipment in a cheep bag, throw a label on it and off it goes.

I shoot a bench rest rifle and Berger bullets are my go-to choice for the greatest accuracy. I’ve tried many other brands of bullets but always gravitate back to Berger. The 6 mm hybrid bullet is excellent and gives me the best results. Give them a try for yourself!

Great long range accuracy in my 6GT rifle, my go to bullet behind a charge of Varget powder in Alpha brass. Optics Planet had best price along with the free shipping, will definitely buy these again.
