Shot a coyote with my cimarron1858 8in barrel.. at 75 yards mushroomed perfect. Rolled him recoil was not bad I bought 2 box's will by more. Also did not dirft much in the wind you could see the fur fly off when it hit 45lc is a good round will by more for sure

Good looking bullet for sure. Earlier Barnes 45 Colt ammo I bought had mo lead in the head (bullet) and grain. For knock down punch, ya need the lead. It’s obvious there is a push to get away from the heavier (better) bullet. Would probably look for another brand next time.
