Packs the stopping power you need into every shot. Barnes specializes in big bore ammunition, and the 338 Lapua Magnum is no exception when it comes to massive killing power. This cartridge is often called “Standard” because it has a reputation of being very effective, but it was made in a facility that also produces 338 Lapua Magnum bullets. Expect the highest quality and consistency from these Barnes ammo, loaded with either TSX, LRX or TSX FN bullets. Barnes says the TSX “Flat Rate” design is the result of “tooth” material on the tip of the bullet contacting the inner surface of the tongue, which is why they achieve “double diameter” expansion. These all-copper bullets penetrate deeply and effectively, ensuring maximum weight retention and destruction. For home owners and shooters who want to pursue big game with hand loading convenience, pick up some Barnes .338 Lapua Magnum 280 g LRX BT, 20 round boxes, per box. Second Amendment Advocate –
I bought these for hunting deer this fall (overkill, I know LMAO!). They grouped ok with my Christensen Arms Mesa LR. Shot them out to 200 yards and they will definitely kill deer at that range. Beyond that I cannot say for grouping. I can't shoot that distance where I hunt anyways due to the cover. It is hard to find a hunting load for the .338 Lapua in general. So if you are looking for a hunting round, these will fit the bill.

Well, it did arrive, with a brand new box. Unlike Fort Scott, munitions, whose box was old- ears, torn off -the bullets, scarred, from the manufacturer! These bullets look quite right. I have not fired any of them yet, as I do not own a 338 Lapua rifle. as for a review of the performance, I will write back once this task has been accomplished. with the good BC and G1 G7 ratings I will buy another box.
