LNE68 –
I haven't shot the 168 gr yet but I used the 180 gr to drop an Elk this fall. At 500 yds I was still holding an 8 inch group. Of course my Elk was at 75 yds, and he dropped with one shot. I was using a 300 Win Mag and because it was so close and I was pushing it at 3050 fps the petals pealed back and separated but it still took him down. I got these because I wanted something that would still expand if I was shooting at extreme range. I will be using the 168's in my 308 for moose this fall.
